• Manuel Andujar has earned his unique place in the history of quads after having won the Dakar in the 2021 and 2023 editions and two World Championship titles: in 2021, ahead of Rafal Sonik, and in 2024, after his victory on the Desafío Ruta 40.
• This exceptional rider started in quadcross at 18, competing in the USA and Argentina for three years. He later decided to venture into rallying. He made his Dakar debut in 2018, finishing 29th, and just one year later, he finished fifth. In the 2020 edition, he finished 4th, just off the podium in the sands of Saudi Arabia.
• The decision of Dakar organisers to eliminate the category for next year obliged Andujar to transition to the SSV division. In the last edition of the Rally of Morocco, with his compatriot Ronnie Graue, he finished 2nd in the Experimental category, testing the new Can-Am Maverick R, ready to take on a new challenge.
• Neither the Touaregs in his showcases nor the FIM World Cups seem to have altered the simple manners of this driver from the interior of the province of Buenos Aires, in the heart of the Argentinian Pampas. He shows his undying support for Boca Juniors everywhere he goes and devotes hours and hours to his donkey Ofelia and his dog Dakar. After winning everything, ‘Manu’ joins this new category with the ambition of finishing the rally and adding another Dakar victory to his collection.
