Rallye du Maroc - Prologue: facts of the day

FIM W2RC: Schareina 4 out of 4

Tosha Schareina winning the prologue wasn’t exactly a big surprise. The Monster Energy Honda rider is ‘the man’ when it comes to these short charges. He already won the Dakar prologue in January, then he did the same on the BP Ultimate Rally-Raid Portugal and the Desafio Ruta 40 YPF Infinia this year. The Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge prologue was won by Ross Branch (Hero MotoSports), but Schareina wasn't there… He has therefore won the last 4 prologues in which he has taken part this year!

FIA W2RC: Mini sets the tone

Winning from the outset with a new car is unusual in rally-raid. In fact, it has never happened in the history of the W2RC... until now. Guerlain Chicherit’s first outing with the X-raid Mini JCW Rally 3.0i ended in victory. It was a historic win for that reason, but also because it is the first time Mini has won a special stage since the championship was created in 2022. A successful reunion between the French driver and his former team!
