- Dennis Zenz vient d'une famille de fans de sport automobile. Il a commencé le karting à l'âge de sept ans. Il a vécu sa première expérience de copilote à 13 ans et a alors décidé de poursuivre dans cette voie.
- Il se souvient d'être allé voir le WRC en Allemagne lorsqu'il était enfant et d'avoir essayé d'obtenir des autographes de stars comme Carlos Sainz.
- À 16 ans, Dennis a commencé à courir officiellement dans le championnat allemand de rallye. Il a passé plus de 15 ans à participer à des compétitions sur la scène nationale et européenne.
- Zenz et Quintero se sont rencontrés pour la première fois dans un aéroport, en 2020, alors qu’ils se rendaient au Rallye d'Andalousie. Ils y faisaient tous les deux leurs débuts en rallye-raid. Ils n'ont, depuis, jamais cessé de courir ensemble.
